It started over 40 years ago...
The product line Camillen 60 Foot & Body Care by the company Raue, which is so successful today, originated from daily practical work; in fact, it can be said that it had its beginnings directly in the work of a chiropodist's practice.
The first product was to be called Camilloped Foot Balsam. Another company, however, already owned the rights to this name. So in 1960 it was decided on the name Camillen Foot Balsam 60 and on the effective company logo. The foot on the camomile blossom is still the sign by which the product line is recognised. Today the product range includes over 30 different foot and body care products, as well as a comprehensive range of plasters and pressure protection methods.
Over the years, investments were continually made, especially in the production area, in order to optimise the production process and both the product quality and hygiene standards associated with it. Modern production machines and automatic filling systems were acquired.
Owing to the growing success of the Camille 60 line, the business offices and production plants in the centre of Hanover became too small. In autumn 2000 the new location in Grossburgwedel on the outskirts of Hanover was occupied. With over 2,500m² of utilisable space and new production and filling equipment, there is no longer anything to hinder further expansion of production capacity.
